Revelation

I am not religious.

I just have a passion to discover the Truth to this game of life.

This page is called revelation because the secrets to the game of life are being progressively shown to me…. And these secrets will be revealed on this page and on my blog

I now race my bicycle in the frame work of the Truth as it is being revealed.

And whilst the revelation can be summarised as: “It is not what it is…”, the details can be very difficult to describe in words. It is like looking for hidden treasure. The clues can be pretty cryptic and when the secret to the hiding place is finally revealed, it is in the most unlikely place.

That is why “It is not what it is…”

First the earth was flat. When it was finally revealed that it was round, it threw a lot of old beliefs out the window. Yet there were many who clung onto the old beliefs based on a flat earth. It was easier for me to cling onto old beliefs – and it will be the same for you. Yet when I dared to embrace the new revelation, it allowed me to explore a lot more possibilities. And it is in the possibilities, that all the discoveries are made.

The search for truth has been traditionally called finding the path to enlightenment. It is a path that many of us travel on – some with more determination than others. There are many who will say that they can lead you there and some who say that they are already there.

Having travelled deep into the path of enlightenment, all I can say is: “It is not what it is…”. The best way to explain this is via a story that I read recently, which goes like this…..

Enlightenment is a burden that you carry around all the time
Enlightenment is a burden that you carry around all the time

“A long time seeker of enlightenment was lead to a stooped old man carrying a heavy sack along the road. He was told that this old man was one of the enlightened ones that he was seeking.  So, he approached the old man who was shuffling along slowly –  and asked him what enlightenment was.

The old man dropped the heavy sack on the ground and stretched upright – looking a lot more at ease and with a spring in his step.

Aha. The seeker instantly recognised what was meant by enlightenment. Then he asked the next question that he thought that only enlightened ones would want to know – because it would be irrelevant to anyone else.

‘And what is it like after enlightenment?’ he asked the old sage.

The old man nodded, hoisted the heavy sack back onto his shoulder and continued on his journey”
